Constant game crashing PS5

Hello, I am playing on PS5 and I have an issue where my game crashes after every other run. I boot up the game play a match and it works fine. I go to play another match and get an extended loading screen when the match is loading before the game crashes. This happens constantly and my only solution is to close the game and boot it up to play matches. This has been happening since the most recent patch on PS5 consoles (patch from the week beginning 9 March). I couldn't find this issue on the forum or in the help centre so this is why I've created the ticket. I'm loving the game so far but this issue is quite disruptive when trying to play. Please let me know if you require any additional information that may help with resolving my issue.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the report.

    If you are still experiencing crashing after today's update, can you please try the following:

    • Completely power down your PS5 (not rest mode), wait ~30 seconds, then start it back up.
    • Check for and install any system updates (PS5 system software)
    • On PS5, you can also try Rebuilding the Database by going into Safe Mode → Rebuild Database.
    • Reinstall Marathon and Clear your console's cache (Please check this guide)

    Also, please make sure your console has good ventilation. Overheating can trigger safety shutdowns that look like random crashes.
