Audio Bug with Bluetooth Headphones
This is the only game I have this problem with that I cant fix. The audio sounds Terrible as it seems to be defaulting to my headphones handsfree mic quality as opposed to using my actual microphone which is a separate thing. This is causing everything on my computer to sound muffled and bad. also separate issue keeps disconnecting my headphones and making them basically turn off because they dont know whats going on with the audio. I just want to play the game but I cant play this game without hearing things. Please fix this ASAP I cant hear people coming up behind me stealing my loot.

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out! Please see our Audio and Voice Troubleshooting guide for tips on configuring your audio setup for Marathon.
If you're still having trouble, try using a different audio device to rule out potential issues with the device itself. If you've isolated the problem to one headset, please consider reaching out to the manufacturer for specialized troubleshooting.
This is a PC issue BTW. Seriously Please Fix ASAP
I have the same issue with my Galaxy Buds, something is activating or priming the microphone even when its not the selected microphone in settings.
Temp work around is to entirely disable voice chat and restart the game
This is normal an expected if you use the microphone on the headset since bluethooth needs to compress the audio to make space for the second audio stream.
I had the issue where it would still use the microphone even if another input device is selected. In my case just deactivating the microphone driver (since i always use another mic) fixed it.
I disabled mine a long time ago but marathon somehow still finds it. I use bose headphones with a hyper x quadcast as my microphone so I always have the bose hands free disabled in the driver so this doesn't happen. However its happening so idk how. Thx for the temp fix suggestions tho!
