RUN/HIDE [1/6] - Chem grenade box not openable after opening once before
Went into a run and opened the box, wiped before I could complete the mission. Tried again 2 times and the box was not openable. 99% sure it wasn't opened by another team because those other times we spawned right next to maintenance and went straight for it.

If you're blocked from attempting it from the beginning on subsequent runs, please use your platform's share feature to capture a clip highlighting the issue you're experiencing and upload it to YouTube, then send us the link here along with your Bungie name (including the # and 4 digits), platform, and approximate date/time it occurred. hey, a friend and I are experiencing the same issue.
1. we both accepted the quest at the same stage.
2. my friend opened the chem grenade container.
3. we then tried throwing them at the quest crates at AI Uplink, without success.
4. in a subsequent game, when we went back to the chem grenade crate, my friend couldn't open it - and neither could I, even though I had never interacted with it before.
chem grenades are already hard enough to come by, so this really needs to be fixed quickly ! I'll try to capture footage showing all of this if I get the chance to go back to Maintenance with the quest active.

I'm having the same problem, about to unlock the chem greandes in the armory but this should be fixed incase you cant unlock that yet. Will upload clip.
Yep same problem. Was doing it and someone was camping on the objective (lab equipment). Attacked me and when i back off to heal hit a landmine rip. So loaded back in and yeah can't open it again, which makes the contract tedious and stupid.
I’m having the same problem. I died after blowing up one box in AI uplink, now I can’t open the Chen box to get more chem grandes to finish the final two.
Well took me all night but I got it done. Thanks Rook on Outpost who was carrying the chems!

we managed to complete the quest yesterday by buying the chem grenade upgrade from MIDA, costly solution but it worked
this time the boxes were able to be destroyed with the nades, hope this gets fixed soon

Same issue here. Attempt #1: got the chem grenades then died to the ticks under ai uplink. Attempt #2: the box in maintenance is unopened but I can’t open it
I am at the same bugged step. I died before I could use the chem grenades, now I can't open the box. I hesitate to use the chem grenades I have bc I dont know if it'll work, and I hate to risk the only 3 chem nades I have on a possibly broken quest step. please fix! thank you.
I had the same problem. Now my quest is complete. Took a while to find the grenades though
