CONTROLLER AIM RESPONSE CURVE FEEDBACK PLEASE LISTEN TO ME
Hello! I was a max guilded flawless 2 k/d destiny 2 pvp sweat who quit completely during witch queen and moved on to Call of Duty competitive where I am highly/max ranked (crimson/iridescent). Truly a kind of player that marathon is intended to recapture. I am loving marathon and can’t wait for ranked but one thing is driving me crazy - the controller aim response curve. Even at max sensitivity I cannot turn around nearly fast enough even at max stick input (on all curve options). Then so also, small inputs are much too sensitive (on linear curve, for reference) relative to large inputs. I recommend measuring the dynamic or linear options on CoD BO7 for a good response curve equation example. There are reasons every single CoD pro player plays on a controller, and that’s definitely one of them — the aiming feels amazing. I am BEGGING you to add even just one curve option that implements this feedback before ranked. This issue is extremely overlooked, especially for a game that must balance different input devices. I know you guys mostly test on PC and lack serious, granular, experienced controller feedback like this. I love marathon, but this is just bugging me so much. It’s like I have a really cool car, but it has a super wonky steering wheel - it makes me not want to drive the car. Please listen to me on this one even though I don’t offer proof it will make more money. Cryo archive and ranked extraction are the true ear-perkers of this game. Small hinges swing big doors, I really think this is an important change. OHH and also please add a cursor sensitivity scalar for inventory management on controller. You guys did a good job on button mapping flexibility btw. Just a couple small tweaks and it’s perfect. Thanks for hearing me out!
