Bug Report - Unable to Progress Contract Selection Pressures [4/4]
Hello,
I am currently unable to progress in the contract Selection Pressures [4/4].
The first step highlights a box where it states "Acquire active contagion sample in Bio-Research. But despite the objective icon highlighting the item it does not allow interaction.
Please fix this error.

Thank you for the report. We're seeing a rise in reports about this contract and are currently investigating.
I'm also having this issue. The quest marker is in the corner near the window shutters button and I can't collect the sample to progress forward.
I've had the same issue. It only happens when the quest marker spawns near the window. If it spawns farther left it's fine.
@Elethian did you try it over and over till it worked out did it work for you? I've ran it a few times and was still bugged.

The same for me as of the 17th march was working on first attempt but on reloading this contract it fails to allow same interaction with the contagion sample pod and just shows the green marker for the contract and nothing else. This is same on all platforms I own marathon on will try a different contract and come back to this one. Hope all the dev team can get this one working again soon.

The patch yesterday fixed it for me. Last night I was able to collect the sample 2 times, I died the first time with it and was able to collect it a second time and complete the rest of the steps and the quest.
I'm still experiencing this bug. I get to Bio-Research and see the quest marker, but can't interact with the sample in the corner

Still experiencing this bug after multiple runs to Dire Marsh, I am unable to progress the mission. I can see the marker for the first object in the contract, but I am unable to interact with it.
Still experiencing this error with multiple runs. It is infuriating trying to do this solo, getting across the map, only for it to be bugged.
Yep still bugged as of today - can't interact with the marker to proceed.
Still bugged for me too. the first time i tried to do the contract it worked fine but i died further into the contract, now that i am trying to re do the contract i can't interact with the sample

Giving my own statement in saying I am facing this bug as well - I have only had it twice spawn in a spot where I could interact with it, but was unable to finish the run. Every run since has had it spawning next to the wall & cannot be interacted with.
I'm super pissed now. 3rd time raw bugged. Lost All my stuff. This is the moment I'm thinking of uninstall Marathon.
Yeah I'm having this issue too. Weird as the first time I went for it I could get it and now I've gone in 3 times and can't get it anymore.
I was having this issue and got this mission done today. I was able to interact with it after not being able to last week. A Frustrating mission that seems to be not be working consistently.
Coming back to say that this eventually worked out for me. After a few attempts, the quest objective spawned in a place where I could collect it. Still worth looking into the issue with picking up the objective when it spawns all the way in the corner
Still bugged. Window spawn 3/4 times. The time I got the sample I didn't make it out of Quarantine.
Bungie, please fix your game. Not only is it still bugged. My friend and i completed the mission, and it didn't even grant me my completion and only counted for him. Ive been trying to get this damn spawn but its constantly at the bugged spot.

It’s still bugged on PS5, I just tried to do this mission and it was in the capsule closest to the window shutter button and there is no prompt or anything, just an icon showing I need it. Really wish the main quest crap actually worked Bungie! Not to mention I had a game where I spawned into being shot at by two Ghosts, so yeah….
April 4 and still an issue when the object is on the far right side of the wall.
Ran into this the first time today. Surprised it still isn’t been fixed. Can’t progress the quest, marker is also near the window.
Yeah if it’s near the window it’s still bugged, exfil and then try again. I got lucky and it worked the second time and I actually completed the mission. People are cruel about letting you complete missions lol
