Frequent Crashes During Exfil and Gameplay – Marathon
Hello,
I’m writing to report a recurring crash issue I’ve been experiencing while playing Marathon. The game frequently crashes during the exfil phase, often right as I reach or enter the extraction zone at the end of a match. The entire run plays normally up until that point, but the game closes unexpectedly during extraction, which results in losing all progress and loot from the match.
In addition to exfil crashes, the game also crashes randomly during gameplay, although the exfil crash appears to be the most consistent and reproducible. My system exceeds the recommended requirements for the game.
I have attempted multiple troubleshooting steps to mitigate the issue, including:
• Lowering all graphics settings to the lowest possible options
• Running the game with settings optimized for performance
• Ensuring drivers and system software are up to date
Despite these steps, the crashes continue to occur at the same frequency. Lowering settings does not appear to reduce or prevent the issue.
For reference, my system specs include:
• GPU: AMD RX 7600
• CPU: Ryzen 5 5600
Given that these specs are above what the game requires, it seems unlikely the crashes are due to hardware limitations. If there are any additional troubleshooting steps, logs, or crash reports you would like me to provide, I’d be happy to assist.
I would also appreciate any information on whether this issue is currently known or being investigated by Bungie.

Thank you for the report. Rest assured that crashes are automatically reported to us when they occur. We're seeing a rise in reports about crashes occurring on certain AMD cards and are currently investigating.
