High resolution low fps
Marathon is running at 65-75 fps 4k resolution with 3080 and 5600x amd with 16gb ram and 40-50 fps when just standing in outpost. Usually on destiny it’s 160-120 under extreme load. System monitoring shows that cpu and gpu usage are not fully utilized and temps not exceeding 70C. Usually it’s at 83C during destiny. Additionally installing on different drives proved ineffective. These data suggest it is a game issue not hardware.
