Can't sign in
I'm on PS5 and had the same issue during the server slam with the indefinite sign in screen. I got on PC it worked fine, I have PS Plus Premium and was able to play the game that way on console. Now with the launch of the game I paid for I'm having the same issue. I tried re-downloading, restoring licenses, signing in and out, clearing console cache, resetting my internet, and it still won't load. I tried refreshing my connection while the game was open and finally got an error message saying the server is unavailable followed by the code S:1:817B1100. But if I stream the game I have no issues. I'd like to see this resolved soon because if I didn't pay extra for my platform service I wouldn't be able to play the game I paid for for multiple days now.

Thank you very much for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble playing the game and have to resort to streaming the game. To rule out any connectivity issues that may be causing this, we'd recommend giving our Network Troubleshooting Guide to see if it improves your ability to enter the game. If this fails, can you provide us with a screenshot of the code and message you are seeing?
My friend is having the exact same issue and they are being just as unhelpful. We’ve received two auto reply responses saying the same things. We’ve tried all the same things you have and nothing has worked. The only thing we can think to do now is get in contact with playstation since they actually connect you to a real person and see if they can do anything. This customer service system is ridiculous.
I finally got in the game by means of wifi. I had to switch to it while the game was open, get error coded, close app, and it loaded properly. When I switched back to wired I was back to the indefinite loading. My wifi is cool but I'd rather follow the recommendation of playing wired so what setting might I need to adjust to be able to play the game optimally?
