Despite having a "successfull exfiltration", I was "killed" and lost all of my loot

Description of Issue - As the round timer ticked down in Perimeter, I took a hostile exfiltration that I started going into around :05 seconds left on the clock. The game fully showed me exfiltrating into the sky with a successful exfiltration title card. When I get to the round summary end, the game listed me as dying/failing to extract and I lost everything. I had a completely stacked set of loot so that felt really shitty...
Rough Date and Time of issue - About 10 minutes ago, 3/6/2026 (~3:12 AM EST)
Repro steps - I am curious if this is just happening if you take any non-final exfil during the last part of the round? To be clear, the hostile exfil was started before the final exfil even appeared on the map.

Same issue today, started a separate post about it. Guarded exfil started before final exfil but bled over into extra time. Showed exfil animation but eliminated on final screen.
Hi Bungie Support, thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately my Instant Replay feature wasn't on at the time so I couldn't get a recording. I am happy to manually try and reproduce this issue and record if it would help display the behavior. I'll be direct, is there any like server log or record of the inventory/events I'm describing? That's why I offered the exact time in the initial post. I am curious if anything could be actionable after the fact. Losing all that loot and rep was a pretty big blow.
If not, I'll admit I will probably be less motivated to get it in a timely fashion but I will still commit to getting it recorded sometime soon because I think my and most other players' expectation would be as soon as that matter conversion animation starts, you made it. That clearly was not the case here.
Hi Bungie Support, I just logged on and reproduced the issue on Perimeter, on a normal exfil but the same circumstances, same user name at about 6:15 PM Eastern. I entered the exfil circle with only a few seconds on the mission clock, was shown the matter transfer starting and completing, the light shot into the sky, and I was considered eliminated by the end of mission screen.

I activated a guarded exfil center map, about 20 seconds before final exil would spawn. That final one spawned maybe 30 meters away from where I had already activated the guarded one btw.
Here is the timer: guarded exfil "onlined" about 20 seconds before final exfil would run out its timer. I got into the guarded exfil ring about 5 seconds before the final exfil would auto-collapse. However getting in the ring creates a new 10 second timer to exfil. So I exfiled technically 5 seconds after the final exfil auto-ran out its timer, but was still within the original guarded exfil ring timer. The screen shows me escaping properly, however as soon as the fancy VFX graphics stopped, I can see a dead bag and body behind me, and it said I was eliminated despite succesfuly exfiling.
PS: just realised this is like japanese support, but it was the first link I found on google.
Hey, can confirm, also happened to my entire team. We exfiltrated with a guarded exfil site, and all got elimination screen, losing all loot on Outpost, at end of round. Unfortunately I did not make a recording, but it seems similar to posts above.
Hey yall, I have no video to share but I also just lost everything on a dire marsh run. was taking the guarded exfil and the time ran out as I was leaving. Despite visually showing that I extracted, the game registered that I didn't. I know there probably isn't anything that can be done, but I was semi kitted out so that kind of blows
I just had the same issue, very similar situation to others here, on dire marsh we activated an exfil just before the final exfil opened. It gave us a 30 second count, but otherwise worked like normal. On post game screen it said we were eliminated. Unfortunately I didn't think to get a recording.

I definitely got one for you bungie. Same thing happened to us. We had 30 seconds to before the final exfil showed up. I was able to activate the exfil and wait it out. I wasn’t watching my map so I didn’t know where the final final exfil showed up but ours didn’t go away regardless. I was a little worried but even my teammates said we were good. The ring showed up and we hopped and exfil perfectly until it said we were all eliminated. Whole minute of footage.

I was playing with my friend tonight on Dire Marsh as a trio. We successfully exfilled, but instead of the normal result, we got the “eliminated” screen and lost everything we had. We activated a Crew Exfil in the last seconds and escaped that way. I also recorded a 5-minute video of it, sorry, our voice chat is included.

Just had this happen on Outpost. Took a guarded exfil that was timed with the final extraction. said exfil Complete and then Eliminated when we got back to the lobby.

Same thing happened here. Wiped some squads on Dire Marsh up until final seconds but spawned a guarded Exfil before 0:00. Took the Guarded Exfil and lost all our gear... RIP
Can confirm, the exact same thing just happened to me. Guarded Exfil, less than 10 seconds as I entered, still made it out with a "Run Complete" logo, but during the run recap after the loading screen it said run failed.

Activated the exfil before the timer went to zero and it dematerialised me but not successfully or idk
Just happened to me too. Guarded extract right before the clock ended, got the 30 seconds final extract timer, extracted in it, told me I died and destroyed all my stuff.
Same happened to me.
