Cannot hear chat audio through my headphones

I cannot hear chat audio through my headphones. I can hear game audio, and if i set chat to my computer speakers I can hear crewmates voices through my speakers. but I can't get it to play through the headphones ever. This has been happening since the server slam.

Thanks for the response. I went through mmsys.cpl and tried both as the default device and the default comm device. No go.
The issue seems to be with Bluetooth. If I use a wired headset everything comes through fine, but no matter the brand or setting I cant hear chat through headphones on bluetooth
The same problem, nothing helps. after short period of the match, I can't hear anyone, and no one can hear me...
BurnOutlaw identified the problem precisely. I'm having the same issue where my Xbox Wireless headset does not pick up player communication unless I plug it in via USB.
I am also having this issue on a Windows PC. Cannot hear friends in a party, random party members, or prox chat.
I can hear all other audio, and they can hear me. This has not been working for me since launch (25h playtime)
I have gone through mmsys.cpl, tried different devices, turned settings on and off and other workarounds, and have had no luck.
