NO AFRICAN SERVERS
I am in South Africa, and we often get overlooked when it comes to servers. Bungie itself has stated "Invested in a global network of datacenters" yet that is clearly not true. Africa is one of the biggest continents, and you have chosen to neglect it as part of your community. The servers need to come before the player base. You cannot expect players to flock to your game without server support as I know the data may show that we have a smaller population of the playerbase, but did you ever consider that may be because we never get servers? Expecting an entire community to deal with 170+ ping shouldn't even be a consideration for a company of Bungie's size, especially in a game like Marathon where the time to kill is so short, every ms counts.

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out.
We appreciate your feedback! That said, the best place to share it is on the official Marathon Discord rather than our Help Forums. To that point, we suggest posting your thoughts there, if you haven't already done so.
Well I appreciate the response, it is very much on the automated side. Take a moment to consider that if I had posted this on the discord it will get lost in the sea of messages currently happening in the general chat which is the only chat I can post on. I should not need to be posting something as serious as a lack in server support for an ENTIRE continent in the general chat of a discord server. It will not be taken seriously and it really should be. I'm happy to take it up through any other communication methods you may have.
Hi again,
I'm sorry you felt my response was automated! The thing is, while we appreciate your passion on this subject, the Marathon Discord really is the best place to share your feedback with the devs, as there are dedicated feedback channels there which they check regularly. These Help Forums are first and foremost for bug reports and similar issues which require investigation and/or troubleshooting, and are generally handled by my colleagues and I rather than the dev team. That said, thanks again for sharing your thoughts!
