black screen when start the game
have restarted my pc reinstaled the game checked the itrigation of the game and it still gives black screen when i start the game any help ??
it gives the first loading thing that the bungie logo after that the sony logo and then it dont work

If it does, please try installing the game on another disk if possible to rule out potential hardware issues. If the error persists, please let us know your system specs, along with your Bungie name (including the # and 4 digits).
I’m having same problem on PlayStation it says reconnect but I sat with a black screen for 3 minutes
Having the same issue. Base PS5. Loading onto multi-TB added internal storage. Have installed and uninstalled multiple times today. Every time cannot even load the game. Click play - shows cover art then goes black after TV switches to HDR. cannot back out, cannot get back to PS5 homepage. Nothing. Have to hard restart PS5 every time. Been waiting as long as ten minutes in black screen nothing happens
just tried with HDR on PS5 turned off. Same issue
moved it directly to console storage. Checked everything I could and game looked similar to others working still not working still black screen doesn’t even get through full title screen before going black
Super frustrating. Paid deluxe addition and everything. Cannot even open the game….
update. After the 5th uninstall/reinstall today the game finally loaded. HDR on. On the internal added memory. Nothing changed…. Still would love help here can’t keep doing this…
update. Played last night. Loved the game. This morning (12 hours later) same issue. Black screen. Can’t get even fully load the title screen.

I’ve had the same issue on a PS5 using internal storage. I get the initial Marathon title screen and then the display goes black. It sounds as if the game loads because I can hear the music score but there’s no video going to my screen. Never recovers. Switching inputs on my monitor doesn’t help. Bungie has been in the game long enough that these kinds of things shouldn’t be happening.
