Marathon crashes at sign in
Hi,
game crashes at sign in, PC platform Steam. Been trying to log in multiple times, no luck so I now give up. Might be because my older rig so I understand, but I still can play Destiny 2 and other like games quite well. Marathon maybe needs something special then?
If someone can straight tell me that there is something about my rig like "you cant play Marathon with that CPU etc" so then I know and will not buy this game, but get new PC someday.
I got AMD Ryzen 5, RX 580 8 GB GPU, 16 GB RAM, TUF B450M motherboard, WIN 11 (version 22631.6199) - no external sound cards or other devices.
Have done these basic stuff:
- Delete GPU grivers with AMD cleaner
- Re-install GPU drivers (26.1.1 - newest)
- Disable AMD overlay
- Using Radeon default profile with nothing on (no anti-lag etc)
- Everything on my pc is at default, no CPU overclocking etc.
- Using only Win defender as antivirus, nothing special
- No vpn softwares, nothing
No luck, just crashing. Anyways have fun all you who can play and have a nice day all.

Hi i got the same things since the launch of the slam and it was just impossible for me to log into the game, the problem was my anti-virus which is kapersky so i don't know for now if it's just kapersky or every anti-virus, anyway if you have one try to desactivate it just for a moment. It works perfectly fine for me now ;)
Okay thanks fo this info. I got windows default antivirus, I can try to disable it for a awhile if I can get in and then turn it on. Im scared to disable antivirus, lol.
update, is it working?
Update: Disabling Windows Antivirus does not help. I read somewhere to downgrade Radeon drivers to 22.8.1 and am currently trying that. Will update soon what happends....
Update: Rolling AMD drivers to 22.8.1 did not help, made it worse, whole game stuck and made PC freeze for a long time. Meh.
