Having problems with monitor when on fullscreen

Platform: PC.
PC specs: Intel Core i7 9700k, RTX 2080 Super, 16GB RAM. 1440p monitor
Nvidia driver version: 591.86 (according to the Nvidia app, it is the up-to-date version)
I'm having issues with the Marathon Server Slam whenever I run the game in fullscreen. For some reason, during the start menu and the runner select screen. There is this black bar from the bottom of my screen that fills up a quarter or half of my screen. Whenever I go to other menu options, there is this flickering. This issue completely dissappears whenever I change to windowed mode. The problem does not appear when starting the game in windowed mode.
