2 fps, unplayable
I can see that it starts fine, but when "work in progress" starting screen pops up, fps drops to single digit, sound lags, after that i cant even start the tutorial, it drops me out with a rutabaga error, i really doubt that its my pc's fault

I changed the settings to low through cvars.xml, didn't help aswell
I have the same issue.
The game works in 2-3 fps.
(And in the Task Manager it says that the game doesn't use any GPU at all)

I have latest drivers (according to Nvidia App).
Latest OS (just checked for updates).
No other games in the background.
My laptop meets "PC System Requirements" except for OS, I have Windows 11 and it reccomends Windows 10...
I am also having the same issue, but its not quite as bad as the other two people.
The lobbys are just fine, capped at 60 fps, but when I go in game I get 10-30.
When I first launched the game I was getting a solid 100-140 fps with my system but I took a break and came back (closed the game and reoppened it) and now my game is just not playable.
I even tried reinstalling it with no prevail, along with reducing everything to the lowest possible setting.

I too have the latest drivers and windows update.
The only thing I have in the background is discord and steam.

I have the same issue as well, never had it happen for any other game, just Marathon. Task Manager shows 1% GPU usage. My PC runs any other game with no problems and is more than capable of running this game. See below:

Only other programs running are Task Manager, Steam, and Google Chrome. Drivers are all up to date, as well as BIOS.
ayy dont worry, i solved the problem instead of the devs, 2 days, still no answer lmao
The laptop has integrated and dedicated graphics, from the start, i had integrated graphics off, after i turned them both on "hybrid" the game actually worked.
Thanks bungie alot for skipping 2 days of the server slam, cause u didnt do ur job
The game does not seem to be using my dedicated 5070 laptop gpu at all. I too have an asus rog strix. How did you get the game to detect the dedicated gpu?
Thanks to "sssstarzzzz" I was able to fix the issue.
Armory Crate -> Devices -> G835LX -> GPU Performance -> Standart (It was before Ulitmate, and Ulitmate didn't work for this game for some reason).
I fixed the issue for me, it was either clearing off a lot of room on the SSD that Marathon was installed on or disabling the Nvidia overlay. Not sure why either of those would make the game not utilize the GPU, but I guess it's fixed now.
I have the same problem, 4070 i7 13th gen. I had to play the server slam on my xbox as the game would not use my gpu, i really hope this is fixed at launch. Im hoping its just the way the demo was presented because this is one of the 3 games that did not use my gpu.
This is still happening for me. None of the above fixes worked. Forcing it to use high-performance NVIDIA drivers in the NVIDIA app still doesn't make it use more than like 3% of my GPU, leaving it at a low 4fps and causing the RUTABAGA error, which boots me to the start, making accessing the in-game graphics settings impossible.
issue continues, game is stuck at 2 fps no matter what i do, stop saying “game is not optimized for laptops”, itFİX THİS ASAP!
