Nothing about this on here so far. I am in Germany, best I got from discord is restart PC or EU servers are overloaded.

Restart did not help. Not sure if this is a badly managed network queue or if the servers are genuinely down.
Issue related to Kapersky! Disabled and now I can play!

I just paused Kaspersky protection and it worked for me
I tried that and it did not work
Just pause protection and restart and it works
Try to relaunch steam with inactive Kaspersky

Hi Runners! I helped people with this same issue during the closed tests and it is still unfortunately an issue. It is to do with how Kaspersky blocks the game and BattleEye. Here are pictures on how to add Marathon.exe and MarathonLauncher.exe to Kaspersky trusted applications and exclusions to allow the game to run unhindered. This forum will not let me upload all these photos so I had to host them elsewhere. Good luck and happy exfiltrating!
