Mouse laggy and random button presses

Im on pc and my game is unplayable because my mouse is totally laggy. The whole game runs fine but the mouse just glitches around and when i try to open the menu random things get triggered even though im not klicking or pressing anything.

This already started in the setup where my mouse was lagging, i then somehow got into the tutorial which ran fine but as soon as i opened the menu this weird mouse behavior started again

    Thanks for reaching out. 

    We’re seeing reports of mouse-related and other input issues. To alleviate these, please try the following:

    • If streaming, try streaming the whole screen and not the Marathon game window specifically.
    • If not streaming, or if the above doesn't work, try disabling the Steam Overlay by clicking Settings → In Game and then toggling off "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game".

    Also, we’re aware of some third-party utilities that can introduce this problem. Try closing any screen sharing, screen capture, or screen measurement utilities.

    Same issue. Tried disabling steam overlay with no change. Seems intermittent and the input for opening a menu can be delayed by upwards of 10-15 seconds
