mouse doesnt work on server slam

it shows the custom cursor for a second then it fades away and i cant interact with anything on screen unless i connect my controller to my pc :(

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out. 

    We’re seeing reports of mouse-related and other input issues. To alleviate these, please try the following:

    • If streaming, try streaming the whole screen and not the Marathon game window specifically.
    • If not streaming, or if the above doesn't work, try disabling the Steam Overlay by clicking Settings → In Game and then toggling off "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game".

    Also, we’re aware of some third-party utilities that can introduce this problem. Try closing any screen sharing, screen capture, or screen measurement utilities.

    same problem, can only use controller during any menuing activity. that includes the inventory screen in game

    Mouse is lagging in menu's and in game. Makes looting impossible

    same issue, turning off all overlay options doesn't appear to fix or alleviate any of it. During the same time, it also causes the main menu to "close" menus randomly.

    I followed the bungie customer service instruction about disabling the steam overlay and it does not work. The mouse is not working, sometimes when I alt tab and quickly tab back into marathon it will work for a few seconds, and if I play long enough the game manages to fix my mouse and I can move it around freely until I alt tab again. 

    UPDATE: I also notice that my mouse wheel starts to load when the mouse isn't working like the game is frozen, but the game isn't frozen.

    Same problem. Disabling Steam overlay makes no difference.

    Same problem on my end - have disabled all overlays and third-party screen recordings, relaunched the game, and still have a laggy mouse. I haven't been able to even finish the first step of the Tutorial with scavanging the medpack because of this.
