Known Issues List - Update 1.0.9

The following is the current list of Known Issues players may experience when playing during Update 1.0.9.

Disclaimer 

This is not a complete list of all known issues, but a targeted list of specific issues and their possible workaround solutions.

 

Zones (Maps)

Perimeter

  • There is a soft barrier in the middle of a walkable cliff space in a field that sits South East of North Relay and North East of Data Wall.
    • Solution: It’s a small obstruction so move around it for now.
  • Portions of the ground foliage is missing near Station and the Data Wall.

Dire marsh

  • Being downed while on top of the railing above Bio-Research can cause the Runner to become stuck, clipping through the railing itself.
  • A turret near Maintenance can shoot Runners through a nearby vehicle.

Outpost

  • A defeated crew member’s bag can potentially fall through the map if downed near the wrecked UESC dropship.
  • Dropping & quick pinging an item upon spawning in Dorms can cause it to clip through the floor.
    • Solution: Try not to quickly drop and ping items in Dorms

Cryo Archive

  • Runners can become stuck between the pipes near the terminal in Pump Station 03.
  • The “Control” location name is misaligned when viewing on the map in some languages.

Contracts

CyberAcme

  • Certain in-run events (Anomalous Matter, Secured Resource, Warden, Locked Keyrooms) don't progress the Emergent Opportunities standard contract from CyberAcme.
  • Cryo Archive - The title of the contract does not appear on the lore side.
    • Solution: The title and rarity are fully visible only on the "objective side" of the contract.
  • Cryo Archive – Contract “Runner Gunner” cannot be reacquired if completed and expired before rewards were claimed in the next Cryo Archive cycle.
  • Beginner Contracts will show that it can be unlimitedly rolled.
    • Solution: They cannot be rerolled at an unlimited number of times.

Traxus

  • Return on Investment [5/5] - A second crew can get softlocked from hacking the container if the initial team dies during the container hack.

Codex

  • Live Hidden Codex challenge – Defeating 3 UESC with a suppressed weapon does not progress the challenge.
    • Solution: To complete, defeat 3 Runners with a suppressed weapon and exfil.
  • Career Codex > Ranked > Titles sidebar may not update after players claim Ranked title entries.
    • Solution: This appears to be a visual tracking issue only and does not affect the other sidebar categories within Ranked.
  • Warden Codex entries doesn’t show new known locations.
  • Compiler Trace collection details show the Compiler Ganglion instead of using the matching 3D model in the inspect screen.

 

System

  • Occasionally during Solo runs, Oni may miss a time callout (Ex:10 minutes remaining).

Loot, Inventory, & Vault

  • Click dragging a weapon mod into the inventory does not emit any sound effects.
  • When near or viewing an enemy Runner’s deathbox for the first time, the print audio sound effect may play.

Runner Shells

Assassin

  • Smoke Screen may not trigger when thrown directly on the exfil beacon.
    • Solution: Try not to directly hit the beacon when throwing down smoke.

Destroyer

  • The Riot Shield may not appear to crew members that are spectating.

Thief

  • After exiting and re-entering the Pickpocket Drone right before the ability ends, the audio becomes sound muffled.
  • Pickpocket Drone may forcibly exit while indoors near a stairway, leaving the drone stuck active and Runner immobilized until timeout ends.

UI/UX & HUD

  • Some tutorial tooltips may overlap with other text prompts in the lobby.
  • Offscreen waypoint pivots don’t align with the world location when it’s above or below the camera plane.
  • After viewing a backpack in the rewards screen, the 3D Light Ammo model may be invisible.
  • Ranked – Reward celebration animation will unexpectedly move back and forth instead of one single motion.
    • Solution: This is purely visual and does not effect rank up/down.
  • Reward Pass lagging or hitches when claiming rewards from layers 7-9.
    • Solution: After claiming, wait for up to around 15 seconds for the purchase to resolve itself.
  • Common Enemy Mod: Decaying meter on HUD when the perk is active does not match timer.
  • Gameplay Settings option for 'HUD Opacity' has the 'Off' option shown as the first selection which makes it easier to accidentally turn off the HUD when adjusting settings.
  • Claiming Rewards Pass weapon styles and quickly navigating to Customize menu may result in 3D model appearing incorrectly.
  • When viewing another Runner that cancels a consumable use and switches their weapon, the weapon appears to be disconnected from the Runner for a split second.

Weapons, Equipment, & Consumables

  • While in the edge of a smoke grenades or Assassin’s smoke radius, equipment damage can potentially be mitigated.
  • Splash damage from thrown grenades may not destroy certain Tick Nests.
  • Using the Knife’s heavy attack when the Heat bar starts its recovery can cause the meter to jump back and forth erratically.
  • Overrun AR – While in-run, hovering over the weapon tile with your cursor in your loadout can make the weapon’s style cut in and out.
  • Some weapon inspect animations can appear to snap into the animation.
  • Self-Revives and Mercy Kits shows the “Use” prompt when hovering over the item with the cursor.
    • Solution: “Using” the item with this prompt does nothing.

Localization

  • Typing in some languages with a virtual keyboard can have an inconsistent character length for longer messages in the text chat.
  • There are a few typos for the “UESC Marathon Model” Codex description.
  • If the Runner has an In Wallet value of 1,000-9,999,999 credits in French or Italian, the icon/values are cut off when viewing the credits tooltip.
Bungie
