Unable to complete the mastery codex "Up Here!"

Description of issue: ive tried about everything under the sun i can think of for this mastery challenge specifically and it will not complete no matter how far/close or if i execute after downing them or full kill without them being shot at by teammates and it will not complete.
Date and time: current and ongoing for the past few days
Repro steps: try it on pc and youll see what i mean.

itll be a bit difficult to reproduce in game but ill try and reproduce it if i can, the bug is occuring almost always whenever you attempt to try and complete it and ive done it from well over 20m with snipers, smgs, and just recently right above someone with a pulse rifle. It also will not complete if you down someone and then execute them after downing them from above 20m.
Is this challenge still not completing for you? I’m having trouble with it myself!

OK, this checks out I have been at that exact same spot in maintenance camping and waiting for people to come by and it just isn’t working
