You really need to investigate the real problem with the mouse delay. It has nothing to do with Discord or Steam overlay. When playing above 1000hz mouse it causse sever input delay. This needs to ...

Mouse super Delayed

I found that running 4k hz and 8k hz on mouse is causing movement and look to be delayed.
