We're sorry to hear your friend hasn't been able to launch Marathon on Steam. By any chance, if they reinstall Marathon or Verify the Integrity of its game files, are they able to launch it without issue? Please let us know if these suggestions help, and we'll review.
to add this his system is not using a lot of resources so its not his pc
they have verified game files they aren't able to launch the game and he had reinstalled it
