Playstation Overheating
I have a base Ps5
Recently did a deep clean, AND reinstalled the game - still will overheat and cause a forced shutdown of the system after about an hour of play;
am I really gonna have to buy a Ps5 pro just for this game???

Thank you for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear your PS5 completely shuts down when playing Marathon. In addition to reinstalling the game, you may also try to clear your console cache to mitigate these crashes.

Unfortunately, after both clearing the cache and reinstalling - the issue persists :(
