LMGs have NO gun shield at all

Description of Issue - I quite literally cannot turn on an LMG gun shield. There is no button to activate them, the default "Z" does nothing despite other guns like the m77 and lookout functioning normally. This has only been attempted with "found in raid" machine guns, I've never brought one in.
Rough Date and Time of issue - every day
Repro steps - pick up a machine gun that has a gun shield

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We understand that LMGs you pick up mid-run are unable to activate their shields. This does sound strange to us. If you happen to have a video of yourself acquiring an LMG with a shield in a run but being unable to activate it, then please consider linking us to that video. A site such as Youtube or Imgur would work for this purpose. We'll then review and investigate this further.
If you find an LMG in game, unfortunately there is no guarantee that it will have the shield attachment. If you find one with the shield attachment, it should be the bottom right when looking at the four mod slots. Hopefully that helps :)
That's the issue - fully kitted LMGs with the mod cannot be activated
Oh interesting, I have had it work but only found an LMG with the shield attachment twice. Maybe try unbinding and rebinding the z key?
Figured it out, I really did just need to bring in my own machine gun - found in raid doesn't work for me at all no matter what
