After payment for standard Marathon, the intermediate window confirming payment offers to "install content" right away, with content being Destiny. Valid as of a few minutes before this submission timestamp.

After the purchase, did you install the full game? There is a Destiny 2: Marathon Pack that are pre-order items included for Destiny 2 when pre-ordering Marathon.
I am not quite sure what your question means. The game is not yet available for installation. If you mean did I proceed with the install when it was offered in the post-purchase dialogue, then no - I saw it offers to install Destiny (I'm not 100% sure at this point, but I think it didn't even say Destiny 2, and it definitely didn't contain "Marathon" anywhere), and didn't do it.
Also, while I did play quite a bit of D2, I don't have it currently installed.
