Using a VPN worked for me as well! Definitely only a temporary solution as it introduces some latency issues, but I'm just glad to finally play the game again.

Had the same issue yesterday on April 1st. Was able to sign in and play a few raids fine in the morning, but when I came back in the evening it no longer let me get past "Signing in..."I attempted ...
