  Hello,

  Thank you for getting back to me, but I’d like to push this further because the current situation does not seem consistent with intended behavior.

  I have already reviewed the Known Issues list, and this issue is not mentioned there. However, there are multiple recent reports from other players in the community describing the same problem, which suggests this is not an isolated case.

  To clarify and remove ambiguity, all attempts were completed under consistent conditions:

  • All runs were done in the original normal Cryo Archive (not Ranked Season 1 and not the Vault Breaker limited-time mode)
  • The Compiler (final boss) was defeated each time
  • The Biotoxic Disinjector was looted and carried through exfil
  • On the most recent run, I had:
    • The weapon equipped in my primary slot
    • The Ganglion item in my inventory
  • I have also completed the related limited contract requiring killing the Compiler and exfiling with the Ganglion

  Despite this, the codex entry still does not unlock.

  Additionally:

  • Other adjacent codex entries have unlocked correctly, confirming that the kill + exfil conditions are being tracked
  • I have all Cryo Archive subroutines unlocked
  • I have earned the Cryologist title, the Cryo Archive recon skin, and other related rewards
  • This is the only missing requirement for Vidmaster

  To further support this, I do have screenshots from my vault showing multiple Biotoxic Disinjectors successfully extracted and stored there. While these are not in-match captures, they confirm that the items were properly exfilled, yet the codex entry still did not unlock.

  At this point, the idea that there are “additional conditions” is problematic because:

  • These conditions are not communicated anywhere in-game
  • The codex entry (based on players who have it unlocked) does not indicate multiple completions are required
  • There is no feedback or tracking to indicate progress toward any hidden requirement

  Given the difficulty of this activity, this feels extremely unfair. Defeating the Compiler and successfully exfiling is not trivial, and repeating it multiple times without progress—while meeting all visible requirements—creates a frustrating and discouraging experience.

  Because of this, I would like to request one of the following:

  1. A clear and explicit confirmation of the exact requirements, if additional conditions exist (for example:
     • Is Clearance Level 5 required?
     • Do we need to access the extra bio weapon room?
     • Do we need to extract multiple Biotoxic Disinjectors in a single run?
     • Is there any other unstated condition?)
  2. Or confirmation that this is a bugged or improperly tracking codex entry, and that it will be investigated and addressed

  Right now, there is no reliable way to determine what is missing, despite consistently fulfilling every visible requirement. This has significantly impacted my experience, especially since it blocks completion of the Vidmaster title after already completing all other steps.

  I would really appreciate this being escalated or reviewed more closely, as the current behavior does not appear to be working as intended.
