Looted a gun from High-Value Target strongbox, Trace Status is 3/4
I looted a fresh V66 Lookout from the strongbox of a High-Value Target activity on Perimeter. The gun was looted from the strongbox directly, dragging it onto my secondary weapon slot (which dropped my secondary). The gun did not move from my secondary gun slot for the rest of the run. When I exfiltrated, the V66 shows Trace Status 3/4 in my Vault.
This was on PC, with the run roughly ending on 7/8/2026 at 10:40AM PST.

Another example of this from today, this time with a Longshot looted from the Pinnacle Strongbox of the Observation Labs encounter on Dire Marsh (Night); the gun was looted into my inventory from the strongbox and stayed there until exfil. Trace status on the new Longshot is 3/4. This run ended on 7/8/2026 at ~8:45PM.
I think this might be intended? I noticed during season 1 that gold items in the shop were also at 3 traces, so I thought they just wanted to limit high-value items.
