Console Only Matchmaking Type

This setting does not work for me I’m on ps5. We set it to console only matchmaking and we still facing pc players. Is this a known issue? I have to turn cross play off for this to work but then I’m only playing against ps5 players and not Xbox. Which is fine I guess but if you have the setting for match making type it should work.
