Mouse activity range error

When I play a game at a lower resolution on a high-resolution monitor—for example, using a 2K monitor but running the game in fullscreen at 1K resolution—the active range of my mouse still corresponds to the original 2K display area.
After changing the resolution, the image is cropped and scaled, so the visual display appears normal. However, the mouse’s active movement range is not adjusted accordingly. As a result, in this situation the mouse cursor can move off the screen from the right and bottom edges while on the game’s main interface.

Would you be able to provide a video of this issue occurring? Uploading to a public video hosting site like YouTube works best.
