Extremely High Ping and Packet Loss
Playing from South Africa and getting put into matches very quickly but constantly have high ping and packet loss. The issue is only with Marathon; I think the game is putting me on distant servers. Unplayable atm with high ping, can't I select different servers? Would not mind waiting longer for matchmaking.

Right now there isn’t an in‑game option to manually pick or lock to specific servers; matchmaking will always try to place you on the best available data center based on your connection and the current population. In some regions, that can still mean higher latency than we’d like.
A few things you can try while we continue to tune matchmaking and server routing:
If possible, use a wired Ethernet connection instead of Wi‑Fi, and make sure no big downloads/streams or VPNs are running in the background while you play.
