Weasel disconnected not able to rejoin

playing on perimeter. Got weasel errored out of the match after a few seconds of obvious rubber banding and desync after a fight and looting. After disconnecting and getting back to the login page I re entered the game and was not prompted to rejoin the match. Instead it just said eliminated and sent me back to the lobby. I also never became loot able for my friends to grab my items.
