Double spawn as solo - me and me as fill

Entered Outpost as solo assassin, I think my own gear (not kit), run was 'Intro to SekGen', my twin/a twin of me also appeared as team fill (?!), had no gear. Same username, let run proceed (couldn't make things any worse anyway). I spawned into Outpost solo, no twin present, but I had no gear, at all, in Outpost. I became the twin. My doppelganger stole my existence. I don't feel any different, really. Managed to complete Intro to SekGen contract with just knife. ...This is my now-best Marathon memory.

    Hello there,
    Thank you for reaching out.

What you described does line up with a real crew-fill / mode-selection issue rather than intended Outpost behavior. Bug tracking already documented cases where players selecting Solos could still end up in a crew or the wrong queue because the Solos selection and Crew Fill state could mismatch, and that issue was treated as severe because players could be placed into runs they did not mean to join.

There have also been Season 2 changes specifically around Crew Size / Crew Fill in Canoe and clearer solo messaging, including adding Crew Size and Crew Fill dropdowns and changing solo labeling to “Solos Only,” which fits with this being an area the team has already been trying to clean up.

The no-gear part is especially useful detail. Marathon also has explicit inventory preservation/escrow handling for edge cases involving gear state, so spawning in as the empty twin instead of with your expected loadout definitely does not read like intended behavior. If you are able to record a video, you can upload it to a site like Youtube, link it to us here, and we'll be glad to take a closer look.
