mouse dont work
When I launch the game, the character moves on its own and the game doesn’t respond to my mouse.
I move and the game does whatever it wants.
My keyboard is fine but my mouse, IMPOSSIBLE to play or do anything.

That sounds similar to a known PC/Steam input issue rather than a normal mouse failure.
There are reports of Marathon causing blocked mouse input, missing cursor control, delayed or doubled inputs, and ghost inputs on mouse and keyboard while other controls can still seem partially functional. Investigation on that issue found it can be triggered when another program injects a DLL into Marathon — examples called out internally include Discord streaming the game window, OBS game capture, MSI Afterburner, Nahimic, and some overlay/recording tools.
If you are streaming, try capturing your full screen instead of the Marathon game window specifically. If you are not streaming, or that does not help, try fully disabling Steam Overlay and Discord overlays/clipping features, then restart Marathon after making those changes.
So the short version is: this is likely an overlay / capture / injection conflict, not your mouse itself.
