Bug: Could not control player character movement

Description of Issue - at start of Dire Marsh map was not able to use WASD keys to move charater was able to switch gund, use abiilities and look around but not crouch, move, sprint, walk, jump...etc player died as a result :(

Repro steps: not sure, possibly from keeping the game running in the background for too long
