Will 3rd Party Controlers Trigger Anti-Cheat on PS5?

Hey everyone. I like to play around and experiment using different controllers and input devices and I have a small personal collection. I currently play Marathon on the PS5 using a Playstation Dualsense controller that I modded to add some back buttons too, but I'd really like try out some different controllers. I'm currently looking into ways too use my 8Bitdo Pro 3 controller instead, but it looks like the only way to do that on PS5 would be using an addaptor like the Brook Wingman or something similar. My concern is that this tech seems to be in the same general catagory as using a XIM which people often use an en exploit to play in lobbies using input devices that give them some unfair advantages (I.E. M&K input in a controler lobby).

Is this a safe thing for me to explore, or is it likely to flag me for using exploits?
