Bungie Answered
after linking my steam and bungie account, I lost access to my friends list
hello! I redownloaded destiny 2 today and since I had some unclaimed preorder rewards, I decided to link my bungie and my steam account. Somehow though, after linking, the game automatically defaults to my bungie friend list instead of giving me the option to see my marathon friends list. I don't know how to solve this, and I've even tried the similar style of fix given to 天才枪手 in his post. It isn't working and any fix would be appreciated!

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out!
The in-game friends list is tied to the user's Bungie account (though it does have a section for users who are specifically on Marathon.)
If you've added friends before linking to your main account, those friends will unfortunately be lost as they are only stored on your previous temporary Bungie account, which would have been overwritten when connecting to the main account.
This isn't ideal, so we recommend posting your screenshot and issue details in the thread linked by smok3D below and we'll be glad to pass this along to developers for further review.
for extra information: Everything else is fine! I have my titles and my skins and my gear. It's just my friends list that is out of wack for some reason.
This happened to me too. [Reference](https://help.marathonthegame.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/48816620637588-Runner-Connections-have-Disappeared)
yeah, I don't have the online marathon connections, just the bungie connections tab, I don't know why
wait, I do have that, I just don't have any of the marathon connections made before the bungie and steam account were connected
I've never been more upset with niot having scs of my friends list, ok ty for the information
question, will those friends still have me added and can join me, or do they lose me as friends too?
