Bungie Answered
Died mysteriously after downing and thirsting another player.
- Bungie Account Name - LaurianIsGod#1102
- Platform - PlayStation 5
- Description of Issue - Me and my team engaged another enemy team in combat. Both teammates got killed and I was the last one alive. I managed to down a Destroyer. after finishing him off all of sudden I was also downed by the same Destroyer who I managed to take out 1st. How did this happen and what was the cause? I can't seem to find the answer after reviewing the footage. Perhaps this is a glitch? Could it be cheats? Please help me understand.
- Rough Date and Time of issue - Between 2:30pm Eastern and 2:50pm Eastern
- Based on the footage below I can't seem to find a reason as to why I went down after finishing off the Destroyer. After investigation and if deemed to be a game related issue can me and my team be allowed to have our items returned to us please? We lost some pretty great gear due to this issue . I know Arc Raiders has a system similar to what I just described. Hope Marathon does as well.

Thank you for your report and the linked footage.
We have taken note of your report concerning this incident you experienced.
While we're unable to manually return lost items, we have a system in place that automatically refunds gear lost to a subset of server errors. Please note that this will not cover gameplay losses due to Internet connectivity or client-side problems.
