Lost loot while loading in
Was loading into a match and got stuck in an infinite "searching for players" when I force closed the game it gave me the option to join that game but once again I was thrown back into the infinite loading loop, I brought a key in and a bunch of other loot, what course of action should I take?

We’re not able to restore items or progress lost due to disconnects, lag, or other connection issues. In cases where a qualifying server‑side error happens, any refunds that can be offered are handled automatically by the game systems, not manually through support.
In the event that an error occurs with Bungie’s server or network infrastructure, connection recovery may not be possible. We will attempt to ensure that any players affected by a server error will have their starting gear returned to them.
Note: Gear refund only applies to a subset of server error conditions, and will not cover gameplay losses due to Internet connectivity or client-side problems.
im in a 3 stack and ALL have the same problem. just loading screen you dont see more, you cant stop it, if you close the game you only get back in the loading screen. we have 2 pc player 1 consol, it happend now 1 time we waitet like 15min untel we pressed back to lobby (and lose the inv), my bungie name: EviIBox#5649, a video record wont help much, you only see the normal loading screen
Same problem, infinite loading screen with only way to get out being to quit and lose inventory. rel1nqu1sh#4384, Steam, around 1615 BST
I'm playing on steam and in this session was loading into a solo match. It happened around 12:30am and I finally "returned to lobby" after pressing the continue waiting button several times at around 1:15am. I was tabbed out during the loading though I'm not sure that's relevant.
Edit: My username is the same as the bungie help forum one, I signed in through the same steam account which had the error happen on
