Toggle Zoom breaks consumable use (And many other animations/functionality)

Description of issue: Using toggle zoom. (Right mouse button) will often break your ability to use or do anything. Cant use consumables, cant use abilities.
Date : Always. Forever. This has always been an issue since I've played in the server slam.
Repro : use toggle zoom. Bring out your melee weapon. use right click as "Heavy attack", infact, any button combination I believe with whatever you set as "TOGGLE ZOOM" causes the issue.
To 'fix' the issue, use 'heavy' or 'toggle zoom' once more. (This is not a good work around especially while in combat with enemy runners.)
Suggestion: Toggle zoom should be unflagged after sprinting/swapping to melee/anything.... except shooting I feel like....

EDIT: This issue often happens as I have toggle zoom on, fighting, and swap to melee, run in, and attack. I can still attack, but now I can not use abilities or consumables and it also breaks animation when trying to use consumables in the world or do most of anything in game. The animation for picking up credits breaks and just instantly uses it.
Also, using toggle zoom and trying to reload some weapons causes animation issues. Had it happen on one of the volt heavy weapons. Scar maybe?
And its miserable when using the repeater HPR as it makes you load one bullet in, then immediately forces you back to ADS.

3/17/26 EDIT: It seems re selecting "Smart Heal" or whatever, or any other consumable, seems to 'fix it' if that helps at all with figuring out why this issue is occuring.

Bungie, if anyone of your employees are reading this. please. I need anyone to tell me I am free to rebind my mouse or use autohotkey to become a 'fake toggle' for hold.
I can not comfortably "HOLD" my right click to aim down and shoot at the same time, and I'm afraid of getting shot by your anti cheat if it interprets me setting a toggle outside of the game to fix this issue.

Well the map crashes seem to be gone. but uhh. Still... having this initial issue.
Potential fix/breadcrumb : switching to "smart use" while locked out seems to "fix" the issue. I'm not sure how things were coded on your end but, reselecting that option when using items seems to unlock it.
Surely its as simple as un toggling whatever "Toggle" when performing any weapon swap/melee attack? ....

Same, not sure how to record a video cause you have to:
1. zoom with a gun using a toggle
2. switch to knife
3. try to use consumable (you can't)
4. toggle zoom again (right click for me)
5. then you can use consumable.
Please guys fix this, it's the only thing that's breaking my heart <3

edit: when i said about sprinting while aiming, i meant cancel aiming with sprint, not actually sprinting in aiming state
Everyone stopped commenting, so obviously the problem has been fixed! Jee thanks Bungie! Its been over a month!
The problem has not been fixed and it seems that they're ignoring it I guess.
Bungie please just get this done it won’t take long!! ADS should toggle off when switching guns, reloading, using items, switching to knife, meleeing, sprinting, pretty much any action should toggle ADS off except for crouch walk and jump! But even mantle should toggle it off. Should have been like this to begin with, like literally any decent fps game. Destiny 2 does all of this correctly! Just get it done right @Bungie Support!!

I am also experiencing this bug, and it is often causing me to lose fights
I stopped playing cause of this + vaulting / jumping off objects error. These issues need to be fixed :(
