The Vandal Mastery Challenge
I have defeated multiple runners from more than 20m above a handful of times at this point. This is my last challenge and it never registers. I would love to switch shells but Everytime I know I did it nothing pops up. #UpHere needs to be reworked!

If this happens again and you're sure it's above 20 meters, please use your platform's share feature to capture a clip highlighting the issue you're experiencing and upload it to YouTube, then send us the link here along with your Bungie name (including the # and 4 digits), platform, and approximate date/time it occurred. Thanks for the clip! It seems your height might not be high enough - we recommend looking for a higher vantage point on one of the maps. It's a tricky one to set up!
I have a clip of me showing the height from where I was and it says 21m. At about 7 sec in the clip it shows the height. Also for some reason I am no longer able to share clips from my ps5 from this game specifically.

I simply want the skin that I’ve earned, above proves the height requirement needed. Reading others posts this is a bug that they have encountered as well.
i think maybe the height measurement is between the "center" of the players while the ping is the distance between your center and the floor. since that ping was 21 it might be like 20.01 or something and it rounds up but then since the center of the player was more than 0.01 above the ground it ended up being 19.95 meters or something
lowk frustrating tho this challenge was like 10x harder than anything else ive done in the game so far. I got it just now from the same spot but shooting someone like in the field towards intersection.
That makes zero sense
i think that its like
ping = head to floor
distance measured by the quest = player middle to player middle
therefore ping > quest distance
i have seen several people get kills in the exact same spot (maintenance spine to maintenance extract platform) and it didn't count for them. its just not quite 20 meters.
The explanation was fine the actuality of the Ping not equaling what it states makes zero sense
