Severe CPU Bottleneck / Low GPU Utilization at 1080p

Description: I am experiencing a severe CPU bottleneck where changing graphics presets or enabling DLSS has almost no impact on overall performance. The game appears to rely too heavily on the CPU, leaving my GPU significantly underutilized.

Performance Metrics:

  • Average FPS: 90-100 FPS

  • FPS Drops: 60-70 FPS (especially noticeable in areas like Dire Marsh)

  • CPU Utilization: 90-97%

  • GPU Utilization: 50-55% (Verified via NVIDIA App overlay)

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

  • Lowered graphics from 'Max' to 'Minimal' preset: Only yielded a marginal 10-12 FPS difference.

  • Toggled DLSS on/off: Negligible difference in framerate.

System Specs:

  • Resolution: 1080p

  • GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4070

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600

  • RAM: 32GB DDR5 5200MHz
