Marathon Hard locks when "Voicemeeter" is open but has no "Microphone" detected.

Description of Issue - Marathon Hard locks on connection screen when the Voicemeeter audio program is open but has no "Microphone" detected. I closed out of it and re-launched Marathon and it opened just fine.
Rough Date and Time of issue - 2/28/26 10:00 PM EST
Repro steps - Have "Voicemeeter" open before launching Marathon but don't have a Microphone input selected. Game will initially launch and then Hard lock on the connecting screen. Game also does NOT immediately close or force close when using Task Manager, once it does the computer is Hard locked for about 2 seconds, then everything responds as demonstrated in the video below.
