Text Chat bugged

In a match if you use text chat, and then close it the visual window closes, but the actual text chat still reads your inputs.

I keep having instances of having giant lines of "aaaawwwwwwwswswswsssssssdddddd" because of this 

Text chat is not closing properly so movement and keyboard inputs are being pushed into the text field.

    We understand you're seeing some anomalous behavior from your text chat. What you describe does sound peculiar. So we can investigate this effectively, please consider sharing the following information when you can:

    • Your Bungie Account Name. Please be sure to include the four digits in it which follow the #.
    • The platform you play on. If on Steam, please include your GPU model.
    • The date and time you first noticed this on.
    • A short videoclip of the issue. If you record a clip, you can upload it to a site like Youtube and link us to it here.

    Once we have the above information, we will investigate this further on our end.

    None of the requested information is relevant to you guys fixing bugs. It isn't an isolated issue. I've seen plenty of streamers have the issue to. If you would like footage, you can watch others.

    As far as pc specs, I'm using a 5070.
