MOUSE doesnt NOT WORK on menus until you start a run

on initial boot the mouse does not work AT ALL. The one thing bungie need to not fuck up to have a functioning game, just doesnt work AT ALL when you load the game up.

Finally got the mouse to let me change graphics settings and it appears multiple things are affecting mouse inputs

Having ANY program running in the back ground blocks it.
Discord, Youtube, Chrome, etc

Being set to full screen also blocks it
Using ALT+ TAB also prevents mouse from working in game.

Setting to windowed, fixed it, why is there no windowed fullscreen option?

    Sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your mouse input. We are aware of some third-party utilities that can introduce this problem. Try closing any screen sharing, screen capture, or screen measurement utilities.

    You can also try the following workaround to see if that helps resolve the issue:

    • If you are streaming while playing, could you try streaming the whole screen and not the Marathon game window specifically.
    • If you are not streaming the game while playing, or if the above doesn't work, try disabling the Steam Overlay by clicking Settings → In Game and then toggling off "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game".

    There's multiple things affecting it bungie

    -being in fullscreen
    -Having background applications running
    - using alt+tab

    Crazy blunder tbh y'all should've tested for this externally.
