Critical Matchmaking Issue Preventing Group Play
Hello Marathon Team,
I’d like to report an issue that’s preventing my family and me from playing together.
My brother, my wife, and I are able to join each other’s lobby without any problems. However, as soon as we start matchmaking, the game consistently fails to find a match. After everyone readies up, we’ll remain on the matchmaking screen for anywhere between 7 and 15 minutes before eventually receiving an error message.
We’ve attempted multiple matchmaking attempts, but the issue occurs every time, making it impossible for us to play together as a group.
If there’s any additional information, logs, or troubleshooting steps you need from us, I’d be happy to provide them. Thank you for looking into this issue—we’re excited to play together once it’s resolved.

Hello there,
Thank you for your report.
Please include the approximate time of the attempts, the platform each of you is playing on, your region, and any error code or message that appears at the end of matchmaking. If you’re able to provide logs or screenshots or video clips, that would also help narrow down what’s going wrong.
We appreciate you taking the time to report it.
the next step is apparently to find a new game for yall to play bc this game is COOKED
Hello,
Thank you for the quick response.
We typically attempt to play during the afternoon hours in Japan (JST). Due to military duty assignments, we’re playing from two different regions: I’m located in Japan, while my brother and wife are in Diego Garcia.
Our platforms are:
* Myself: PlayStation 5
* Brother: PC
* Wife: PC
I’ll gather screenshots, videos, and any error messages the next time we attempt to queue together and will send them over as soon as I can.
Thank you again for looking into this issue.
