Can't get into a run

From San Diego, T-Mobile ISP, PS5, connected Wi-Fi. Solo, Outpost, DM, & Perimeter. Friday and Saturday after about 8pm it's near impossible to start a run. 7 failures Fri. 6/26, all failures Sat. 6/27. Times out "Matchmaking error. Signed out signed back in, restarted PS5, changed contracts, changed shells, load outs, PS5 network fine, Lux purchase fine, shows up, some schemas from rewards purchased tonight not showing up, seems like stuck cache? Synch error? Stays on "Preparing for Run" for about ten minutes, then red screen. Internet connection is fine. Other things fine. Can move around. Let sit on red screen to disconnect from server, disconnected, tried to get back in Outpost, still times out. IT pro, tried everything. Crossplay on/off, signed back in each time. Last two nights bad. When Steam charts say count is below 7K seems to happen

    Did you happen to grab screenshots of the red error screens? Or do you remember exactly what they said or if any error codes appear?

  • Fyi: add to above. The Rewards Pass items did appear, so rule that out. Purchased items not a problem.

  • I just want to add, today took forever to get into two matches. 3 time out failures. I'm the biggest alpha, Beta, SS, S1, & S2 Marathon backer. But this game will not survive with these problems, complete truth, went Friday and Saturday barely able to get in. Just now waited 10 minutes again, said run starting, showed contract, and then went to red error screen.
    All my other Internet things are 100% fine.
    No more Marathon waiting this weekend. I'm so sorry for you guys. You tried hard, counting on success, but just seems your so plagued. Some is not your fault, but at least fix basic issues as you are able.

  • This problem is still persisting. The problem seems to be the game indicates that crossplay is enabled, but when actually entering the "Preparing for run" waiting lobby, by clicking on ""Preparing for run" it indicates it's still in "crossplay disabled" mode.
    This is after signing out and signing back in multiple times, signing out of PlayStation. And restarting the PS5 console. My settings are just stuck on "Crossplay Disabled" within the game, from the waiting lobby onward. The settings: gear> settings> crossplay indicated disabled

  • Okay, problem seems to be a glitch where, while in the preparing for run screen, it continues to designate 'crossplay: disabled' even though it is not disabled. I'm getting in, and have other platforms in there. So the bug/glitch is the queue lobby settings not responding to what the environment settings are. Apparently it's a known bug with the game (reddit). I can live with it, but it really should be fixed, or didable that ability to display crossplay settings within the 'Preparing for Run' lobby holding queue until you have time to get it.
