Banned after crash - Development tools false positive
I was banned from Marathon after the game crashed, and I believe this is a false positive from the anti-cheat system.
What happened:
- Completed tutorial, was waiting in lobby
- Working on web development, frequently alt-tabbing between Marathon and my development tools
- Game crashed during alt-tab
- Upon relaunch: banned
Software running at the time:
- Marathon
- JetBrains WebStorm (web development IDE)
- Visual Studio with development server running
- Web browser
I was not using any cheats or unauthorized modifications. I'm a software developer and was working on a personal project while waiting. The anti-cheat likely flagged either the Visual Studio debugger, development server process, or the frequent alt-tabbing.

This happened to me as well with having Visual Studio open while playing. Can't find any answers about it but there are multiple people asking on the discord and reddit.
I think I had the same issue while using Visual Studio in debug mode with Unreal Engine.
Any chance of this being addressed before the slam is over? I'd like to try the game out a bit before it ends and I'm still banned...
