Chat permission problem
Hi just give permission to my child by parental control to let them talk in the game chat of the game, but when we go to the game to activate the voice chat i keeps telling me to check permissions because it is blocked anyway, any idea how to solve this problem?

Hi there,
Young players (aged under 13, or their country’s age of digital consent) will need to link their account with a parent, guardian, or other responsible adult’s account in order to access certain features, such as joining text or voice chat. The parent, guardian or other responsible adult needs to have a Bungie.net account and verify that they are an adult.

If you are encountering issues after setting up Parental Controls, there might be an issue with the Parental Control settings on the platform you use to play. Please reach out to your platform's support team for assistance with troubleshooting your platform's Parental Control settings.
Doesn’t work for me either. I signed in, linked accounts, and gave the permissions.
If you have already gone through all of the steps on this page to enable text and voice chat in your son's account, it's likely that something's gone wrong with the setup.
To that point, we would advise that you try disabling and completely removing parental controls from all linked accounts involved (parent and child), then going through the process anew. Hopefully, doing so will yield a better result, and fix the persistent issue with text and voice chat affecting your son's account.
