New update Fix

I saw details in the new patch notes that said “ Made additional updates to prevent players from getting into a state where they have completed a Codex challenge but not get credit for that completion. “ Would this fix apply to the known issue of players not receiving their cryo archive skin and compiler completion codex challenges? A while back i managed to kill the compiler and was not awarded the skin, however my other two team mates received it. Been hoping to hear back on this issue for a while!

    Thank you for reaching out and for reporting this.

    This fix does not apply to that specific issue. If you did not get your skin or codex from defeating the compiler, please provide the following details to add to your report:

    • Your Platform
    • The approximate date and time of when this happened
    • Did your crew start the Compiler encounter?
    • Was this a fight involving multiple crews or just yours?
    • Did you personally hit the Compiler’s exposed weak spot when it was exposed?
    • Do you have video or screenshots showing those hits?
    • Did you exfil successfully?
    • Did your friends get the skin/Codex from the same run? If so, what are their Bungie IDs?
    • Was the missing reward just the skin, or also Codex progress?

    If you have a video or clip from the encounter, you can upload the footage to a public video hosting site, like YouTube, then post the link here and we’ll be glad to take a look.

    I do have a clip and i will chop it up for you guys later today!

    -Ps5
    -Was the last week of season 1
    -Our crew did not bring the DNA access
    -3 runner crews were present
    -I personally unloaded a gold bully mag into the compiler critical spot (was reloading during the final blow)
    -I do have video
    -I did exfil successfully
    -My friends did receive the codex reward and skin (Bigboyjoe4 , Carpet_Bomber) i believe are their ID’s
    -The only codex item i completed upon exfil was for obtaining a gangalion (my teammate managed to grab one), i did not receive the codex entry for killing the compiler or for the vandal skin reward.

    Was definitely a bummer! Thank you for looking into it.
